Required Browser Version
Before you start using TurnKey, you must be using Internet Explorer Version 6 or higher. TurnKey admin will not work consistently with earlier versions of Internet Explorer or with Netscape browsers. To check if you are running IE6:

  • Go to Help > About Internet Explorer (Keyboard shortcut 'ALT H A’).
  • Check Internet Explorer Version in the following window:

If you are running an earlier version of Internet Explorer - contact your Network Administrator or your IT Manager to upgrade to IE6.

IE6 is available as a free download at: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.asp
 

Required Browser Settings

Before you start using TurnKey, you’ll need to make some changes to your Internet Browser settings.

Stored Pages

  • In Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options.
  • Click on "Settings".
  • Ensure "Every visit to the page" is the selected option.
  • Click "OK".

If you are unable to change these settings you should call your Network Administrator or your IT Manager.

Trusted Web Sites

  • Go to Tools > Internet Options.
  • Click on the "Security" tab.
  • Click "Trusted Sites" and add "TurnKey.n4b.com" to the list.
  • Ensure the check box for "Require server verification" is UNCHECKED.

If you are unable to change these settings you should call your Network Administrator or your IT Manager.

Cookies

This allows TurnKey to set cookies when it needs to.

  • Go to Tools > Internet Options.
  • Click on the "Privacy" tab.
  • Click "Web Sites".
  • Add "TurnKey.n4b.com" to the list.

If you are unable to change these settings you should call your Network Administrator or your IT Manager.
