Workflow Module

Workflow: Preview>Approve>Publish

To enable distributed management of site updates whilst still maintaining central control, TurnKey utilises a simple work flow module when required. Put simply the process is as follows; create > edit > preview > approve > publish. Standard admin users are able to create or edit pages within the site. These are quarantined until published by a master administrator. A master administrator is able to approve and set live, amend the page before setting live or refer back to the author. This simple workflow process is excellent for 95 percent of clients. More sophisticated bespoke workflow solutions are availale by utilising the LaunchPad API.

The Workflow functionality can be switched on and off in the site properties.

Administrators will have a complete overview of pending web pages, and a choice of editing, approving, or rejecting the pages.
